It’s getting lighter

Hello and here we are - Spring has sprung at last. There’s a sense of optimism in the air and I’m breathing it in.

It’s to easy to forget selling books is a part of my life too! I’m so busy interviwing all these fellas I forget there’s sales and marketing to be done. Anyhow I have a new PR recruit - Maggie. She’s doing a grand job, her first few minutes on Instagram she sold 5 books!

There isn’t much to tell you as I have literally been spending all day, everyday in my shed interviewing and typing. One bloke I found on Twitter runs a Vineyard - he even sent me a bottle to try - it was gorgeous. Total number of men interviewed - 78! Monologues written - 5 (I’m thinking Edinburgh Fringe next year) and hopefully the new book out by the end of the year.

I am speaking at Flushfest in May via Zoom (still not loving the public speaking, in fact I’m not sure if I should keep going at it, in the hope that one day I’ll enjoy it or give it up altogether. I’m not even sure the latter is an option because if you write books you have to talk about them! It’s a dilemma. A friend just told me I should drink before hand - that’s a thought!)
