Sample copies to show you

Since I last posted I eventually sent my book off to China for printing and a week ago I received some sample copies  - and they're beautiful! I sent one straight off to a local newspaper up North and this morning received some lovely comments - "I just wanted to send you a quick email to say how much I am enjoying your book - I cannot believe that you haven't done any writing before. I welled up a couple of times reading about your mum's death and the aftermath. It has even made me act more kindly around flies - just in case one is my grandma! I love the fact that you're so proud of where you're from - even the legendary Swales gets a mention! I'll be back in touch as I'll definitely write a review for the paper."
