How are you?

I’m good. Knackered tho’! 

How do you think other people see you?

Noisy! A dark horse. Laid back.

How do you feel about body image?

I think beauty is in the eyes of the people you associate with around a similar age to yourself.

I wish I was completely happy with my physicality. I wish I was hard as nails but it’s when you go shopping; people say things, that upsets me. 

I like that I don’t dye my hair or don’t need to wear a lot of make up. I have an acceptance of my age. There’s one thing though that bugs me; I can’t abide women who look like they're on their last legs; struggling, pained walking, getting up from the table heaving and sighing when there’s nothing wrong with them - them that make a fuss! 

How do you see yourself?

I’m happy plodding along. I’m an independent person; inspirational with a lazy streak! I’m very matter of fact. I don’t like superficial slosh. I like to call a spade a spade. 

What do you like about yourself?

I’m motherly, home loving, caring, adventurous, sensitive, God loving and intelligent. Now make sure you write down “this statement was done under duress", I don’t like self praise!

Where does all your energy go?

Looking after my family at both side of the age spectrum. I love looking after my Grandkids. At the other end - well - it’s unconditional,  you do it out of love. 

What brings you down?

Housework, it’s repetitive and non productive! People's dramas bring me down as does political nonsense.

What's your most memorable experience? 

One morning I walked into my dads room, he was just lying there, dead in bed. 

Who or what inspires you?

Winston Churchill and the way he projected himself. Henry Vlll -  he fascinates me too' such a wretched personality. Clever people inspire me. Doctors and specialist in particular. I mean look at me. I basically went blind years ago, there didn't seem much hope but now I have better eye sight than ever. 

What do you think about life?

Keep ducking! It’s a trial by God for the next life. You've got to watch what you're doing! Nothing is perfect. Nature is everything.
